THE ORIGIN

Atalay’s Kebab Van was born in 1988, when Resul Atalay decided to share his passion for authentic Turkish kebabs with the community of Thame. Setting up a humble van by the Market House, he didn't just sell food; he built a community hub.

He quickly earned a loyal following—locals who craved a quality late-night bite that didn't cut corners. While the van has upgraded over the years, the spot remains the same.

And then there is the sauce. Our famous chilli sauce features over 30 ingredients, a closely guarded family recipe refined over decades giving it a depth of flavour you won't find anywhere else.
